Center Rentals

This
award-winning building has three multi-purpose rooms for rent
individually or in any combination, along with access to the
kitchen. The gym is equipped with six basketball hoops and can
be used for two half-court games or one full court. The gym
also accommodates two volleyball courts. All rentals include
tables, chairs and set-up.

MULTI-PURPOSE ROOMS
Three sections are available - rental is per section, 75'X30'.
Rental includes tables and chairs. Uses include meetings, parties
and receptions.

$24 resident
$34 non-resident/commercial
$22 not-for-profit organization with tax exempt I.D. number
Fee for Kitchen (includes stove, microwave & refrigerator)
$10 for resident and not-for-profit organization
$15 for non-resident/commercial

20 tables with 6 people per table - 120 people max
GYMNASIUM
Poured urethane floor, 71'X103'. Rental includes 6 basketball
hoops. Food and drinks are not allowed in the gym.

RENTAL FEE INFORMATION
Building reservations are taken on a first come/first serve
basis. A signed rental contract and a non-refundable deposit must
be made in order to secure a requested date/time.
Rental fees are on a per hour/per room basis. These rates apply
during normal hours of operation for the Pottawatomie Community
Center.
A supervisory charge of $15 per hour will be assessed in addition
to the hourly room rate if the rental is scheduled outside of
normal operating hours.
A signed rental contract and a non-refundable deposit of $25 must be made at the time of reservation in order to secure the date/times requested. The deposit can
be paid by cash, check, Visa, Mastercard or Discover.
The balance due for a rental must be paid on or before the date
of the rental. The balance due can be paid by cash, check, Visa,
Mastercard or Discover.
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance to avoid facility charges. A 50% facility rental charge will be assessed for cancellations made with less than 7 days notice. All cancellations will result in the forfeit of your deposit.
RENTAL PROCEDURES
All rentals must be booked through the Community Center Supervisors by phone or in person. Rentals will be approved based on space and staff availability. The renter must be a minimum age of 21 years old and will need to sign the facility rental contract to assume all responsibility of the facility rental.
BUILDING USE INFORMATION
All rentals will be based on facility and staff availability.
Decorations may be attached to walls using scotch tape and string
only. Staples, screws, nails or confetti is not permitted.
The renter shall be completely responsible for the behavior
of all participants and for the prompt departure at the end
of the stated facility use. No minor (under age 21) will be
permitted to use the Pottawatomie Community Center unless an
adult is present during the entire rental. If there are minors
at the function, they will not be permitted in the building
until an adult from the group is present.
The Pottawatomie Community Center is to be left in its original
condition and vacated at the specified time noted on the rental
confirmation form.
All personal property of those using the Pottawatomie Community
Center must be removed from the facility upon termination of
use.
The St. Charles Park District is not responsible for loss or
damage of personal property belonging to those renting/using
the Pottawatomie Community Center.
Supplies (food, decorations, balloons, etc.) may not be delivered
in advance of the date and time noted on the Building Reservation
Form unless specific permission has been granted in writing
by the Center Supervisor.
Smoking is not permitted in the Pottawatomie Community Center.
Alcohol is not permitted on St. Charles Park District property.
No food or drink (other than water) will be permitted in the
gym without written permission from the Center Supervisor.
No hard balls (i.e. golf, baseball, softball, etc.) rentals will be
permitted for use in the Pottawatomie Community Center.
No St. Charles Park District property or furnishings shall be
removed from the Pottawatomie Community Center.
An individual/group using the Pottawatomie Community Center
will be expected to stay in the immediate area of the room(s)
they are renting.
St. Charles Park District programs and affiliates have first
priority to all room rentals.
St. Charles Park District reserves the right to require a policeman
on duty at specified functions.
A certificate of insurance may be required due to the nature
of the activity naming the St. Charles Park District as additional
insured.
St. Charles Park District reserves the right to revise any rule
in respect to the welfare of the Pottawatomie Community Center
and its staff.
