Drop-In Activities

Computer Coaching
With volunteers Bob Snodgrass and Pat Wisz
Computer Coaching is offered free of charge in the AAC Computer Lab on a regular schedule Wednesday afternoons from 1-3pm. Beginners to advanced computer users are welcome to participate in these informal sessions. It’s simple to drop in with your questions or what topics you want to learn about and these instructors will try to accommodate. Special classroom style sessions may also be offered. A handicap system is used so everyone has a fair chance of winning. This time slot is for serious league-minded players only.

Anything Goes Pool Nite
This is an opportunity to socialize with an informal evening of pool for men and women. Darrell Scarff, volunteer.

Table Tennis
For 50 & better, double the fun! Two tables are available in the multi-purpose room for organized, recreational play and social. New AAC members are welcome.

B.Y.O.G.G.*
*Bring Your Own Group & Game! This program has expanded! Instead of just Pinochle, try Tripoley, Scrabble, your favorite games – old and new, anything your group wants to play!

Game Galore
Come in and play Scrabble, Cribbage, Monopoly, Dominoes and more. Or, bring a game you want to play. This gives you an opportunity for a fun night out! Billiards also available.

Pinochle Club
Here’s an opportunity to gather with friends old and new. Strategically play your hand against your opponents. Coffee available.

Bridge for Beginners

Thursday Duplicate Bridge
This drop-in card club is specifically designed for the duplicate bridge card player who is looking for a challenge. Spectators are welcome. Coffee is available for a donation.

Book Readers Club
Join volunteer, Barbara Orlando, for a monthly book readers club.

Quilting Club
Come share the fun of quiltmaking with your friends and neighbors. Swap ideas, patterns and more with volunteer Jan Cox.

Duplicate Bridge
Games are open to those interested in playing duplicate bridge. Certified directors direct the games and are qualified to issue rating points to all who win. The number of tables determines the number of winners earning master points. Nominal fees include refreshments to play in the St. Charles game.
