The St. Charles Park Foundation has been created and designed to receive funds, real and personal property for charitable, scientific or educational purposes for the betterment of the Greater St. Charles area. It is a local, independent, not-for-profit 501(c)3 foundation authorized to accept tax deductible gifts. Contributions to the Foundation are the perfect way for you, your family and your friends to support the Greater St. Charles' heritage for generations to come.
It is the intent of the Foundation to aid and encourage the St. Charles Park District, a special purpose governmental unit, in the acquisition, conservation, preservation, development of lands and operation of recreational programs and activities within the Counties of Kane and DuPage. With regard to the use of funds and properties received and accepted by the Foundation, the Directors will recognize and follow specific request or suggestions presented by the donor.
Although the most satisfying reward will be the gratitude of future generations who will enjoy, study and cherish the benefits your gift makes possible, there are, as well, substantial tax advantages which make charitable giving financially attractive.
For more information about tax-deductible contributions, please be advised to consult with your tax advisor.

Recreation Participant Scholarship Program
The St. Charles Park Foundation has pledged to raise funds for the
Park District’s recreation participant scholarship program. Over the next year, the Foundation is committed to raise a minimum of $5,000
to assist economically disadvantaged youth and families residing
within the District’s boundaries.
Since the establishment of the scholarship program in 1984,
scholarship program requests from residents have increased with
each passing year. Over the past two years, over $9,000 has been awarded to scholarship recipients.
Your gift to the scholarship program will help to ensure that all Park District residents are able to participate in Park District recreation programs. If you are interested in making a donation to the scholarship program, a special line has been added to the Park District’s program registration form. Any dollar amount will be accepted and appreciated.
