Parks & Trails

The Parks Department works diligently to maintain over fifty sites of quality open space including parks, natural areas, and athletic fields. Throughout the community, numerous sites are evaluated and updated on a continual basis.

Park District staff are committed to managing all of your parks to conserve and enhance their value to the community. We welcome and encourage you to enjoy all of the beautiful park settings.

Most parks are open from dawn to dusk unless otherwise designated. Parks with lighted facilities close at 11 p.m. during the open seasons.

Park Watch Program

Citizen Involvement

In order for this program to be most effective, it must rely on citizen participation and support. While we do our best to keep a close watch on activities taking place in the parks, we cannot be everywhere all the time. Therefore, we are asking you (residents of our community) to help us keep an Eagle Eye on our parks. Click here for more information
